Bio:

Born in a forest on the 28th of Skyhome, Betran and his three sisters (Edith, his twin Bianca, and Theda) were destitute.
Regardless of money problems, he grew up loved by his sisters, who Betran claims taught him the meaning of respect. Unfortunately, was forced to run away from home when he witnessed a crime of poaching. In the ten months he spent in hiding, Betran stayed with a tribe of Boggard in Hooktongue Slough, helping them around the village in exchange for his care, and learned their language. He was unused to the Boggard habitat however, and became ill, he survived and was stronger for it.
His return home was marked with tragedy however, as a deadly disease takes Edith and Bianca. After which, Betran hid himself away from the world to learn alchemy, taking over the family business.
During his adult years, Betran was accused of a crime against the God of Death, Gyronna, which he bitterly says were false accusations. He adventured for a time with a group of dwarves in an attempt to help them reclaim their homeland, but they were wiped out by bandits. Which does explain his animosity towards them and his eagerness to help us slay The Stag Lord.
